Besides a winning team and fans, what is on your wish list for Holmes Convocation Centers?
For me, it'd be some cosmetic upgrades. The outside of the building looks great still, but it could use some work after all of the snow and salt it has been exposed to over the last decade.

The steps leading to the entrances could certainly use a little TLC. Id like to see some big scoreboards/video boards on the wall in each endzone. Maybe get rid of the gray seats for black seats.

Black seats would hide the empties better.

As a student, risers in the middle section of the student area.
I think if Jim Fox stays around long enough the crowds will get bigger and bigger. We haven't had a win like that in a very long time. How can you not want to run through a wall for him?

Are we the only school in the country that has a track around the playing area or what most would consider the two premier sports in college?

If you had to keep one, which would it be?

Keep the track around Holmes. No way we can afford an indoor facility separate from Holmes, and ITF is a good sport for us. There are very few indoor facilities in the state. I personally don't think it looks all that bad.

Maybe we are just the only fiscally responsible school in the country.

I am not complaining to be honest. I like it, very practical. If I were a kid I would be running all over that track when the crowds were thin.
We have good T&F. Glad we can have this, and how much does it really cost to have this pattern versus some over carpet or tile.
Do records count on this track? Indoor tracks are a bit smaller are they not and also banked? Or does it just have to be inside. Would an indoor track meet at the Georgia Dome on a track the same size of an outdoor track count as indoor for NCAA records. Do domes count for outdoor records in the spring season? Could they count for both at the same time if you were in a dome but scheduled during the spring outdoor season? Most or all of the lengths are different between the season so there is that.

If the Iindoor practice center is expanded, perhaps they can move the track there.

With the softball field would there be room to expand the indoor practice center? I thought the space was pretty tight there.

According to what I saw written by DG on the Belt board, I think the down the road plan is to move the softball field. Not tomorrow, or the next day though.

How about we enclose the area around each entrance so people buying tickets don't have to stand out in the cold/rain/wind/snow waiting in line. Hopefully there will come a time where tickets will be in higher demand .

I'm just thankful that we have one of the best basketball arenas in the Sun Belt. We don't need any better facility (have you been to or seen Ga Southern?) we just need to win and fill up what we have. When that happens we will be in the "big time" as far as I'm concerned.
