Dr. Caton runs Dark Sky Observatory and as I have posted on here a few times he has been involved in public outreach on a monthly basis for the past few years. He is in the running for a Public Service award from the UNC system. If you have been involved in any of his public outreach and would like to help support his case then you can email him a reference letter by next Friday.

If you have not had a chance to attend a public viewing and you are within a 2 hour drive then do yourself a favor and get tickets one month - they are free.
