Many of you know that May 1 is #iBackApp day. The alumni association is heading up the drive to get as many alumni to donate to the Appalachian Fund as possible. Last year's campaign was recognized nationally.

Your donation to the Appalachian Fund provides flexibility for the university to fund programs that are most in need of funding. It also sends a message to legislators that Appalachian is important to you. That's a vital message in times of funding cuts.

Please join me this Friday, May 1, in giving to the Appalachian Fund. Your donation of any amount is much appreciated!
