Perhaps most notably, Appalachian State men’s basketball, which incurred penalties for subpar APR performance last year (including a postseason ban), is free of penalties this year.
With single-year APR scores of 980 and 979 in 2013-14 and 2012-13, respectively, men’s basketball has raised its multiyear APR to 926. While the 926 multiyear APR is below the standard penalty benchmark of 930, the program’s most recent two-year APR of 980 is well above the two-year improvement benchmark of 950. Therefore, the team is no longer subject to penalties and eligible to return to postseason play in 2015-16.
And here's a spreadsheet of the single-year and rolling four-year averages.
