Appalachian Marching Band Festival

Hello Mountaineer Fans,
Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, the mens music fraternity on campus, would like to invite everyone to come join us on October 24th at the ROCK for the 36th annual Appalachian Marching Band Festival. This is a high school marching band competition that put on every year by the brothers of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia in partnership with the Hayes School of Music. This will be great addition to any extended weekend in the high country after the Ga Southern game and this is our largest year ever with 29 bands and over 2,000 musicians. These competitions are fantastic teaching tools for these high schoolers and this performance is the highlight of many of these students careers. The first performance is at 11:00am and the evening is capped of by the Marching Mountaineers at 8:30pm before the awards. Come and be a part of a exciting day of music and help us give these students the true Appalachian experience of performing at the ROCK.

Tickets will be $10 at the gate and $5 for seniors/under 12/military with ID
