My good friend (and my wife's best friend since Kindergarten) Anna Helms was killed in a hit and run car accident in Denver, Colorado on Sunday. She graduated from App in 2008, joined AmeriCorps, and eventually moved to Colorado to pursue her Masters degree from Colorado State. Below is a link to the story. I waited a few days to post as I didn't want any of her friends finding out through the MMB. So, if any of her friends are just now finding out about this on MMB, I apologize. We have tried to reach out to everyone we know, but she impacted so many lives a few might have slipped through.
