Yosef Cabin errors

I have no idea where this really needs to go on the board. Maybe a PM to the mods, but this might be useful for many of us so I am posting out in the open.

I have been having a lot of 523 errors off and on for YC the last few weeks. Sometimes it happens and is fixed a few minutes later, as happened this morning. Other times it has taken a bit longer. Sometimes I get a few links to open but can't get to MMB threads before a 523 error pops up.

If this is happening should I just ignore the error and come back later or would the mods like to have an email sent to their email address so they can be made aware of the situation.

Back when we were having so much trouble with streaming video I would email David Jackson every little thing so he was aware. I don't mind doing the same for YC/MMB I just need to know who and where to email, if that is something useful for the mods.

I hate to even sound like a complaint. This is free after all, and with less ads now. I just want to know if there is anything I can do on my side to help, if help is needed.

I will admit I jump on and off here way to much and could use this as a message to get my life together in a more productive manner.

Definitely let me know if you are having trouble. I can't fix the issue if I don't know about it! Private messages work best but posting a new thread like this is almost as good. Just don't bury the trouble post in another thread as it's easy to miss. Thanks for letting me know and I'll see if I can figure out what's going on!

If I can't get in to YC then I can't PM you. Do you have an email you care to post for all to see or PM out of public view that I can use? Otherwise I will do what I can within YC.

I misunderstood - I thought the 523 error was momentary and that a refresh fixed the issue quickly. You can always email at yosef@yosefscabin.com. Thanks and let me know if things get better over the next few days.

The 523 error was momentary but I have had a few issues that lasted longer. That email should be easy enough to remember. Thanks.

Anytime you can send screenshots of the errors (if it makes sense), that is extremely helpful as well .
