State of Appalachian talk by Doug Gillin
Doug Gillin spoke for almost an hour today regarding the state of Appalachian athletics. I don't know about the rest of you but I am thoroughly impressed and APPSOLOUTELY glad to have Doug Gillin as our AD. Listened to his 30 minute recap and he is so positive about everything Appalachian. Mentioned meeting in May to discuss having conference championship game in football, importance of games like Miami in Boone, and many other issues. The future certainly looks bright for App !

Re: State of Appalachian talk by Doug Gillin
He mentioned a restructuring of the athletic staff sometime in the coming months, I'll be interested to see how that shakes out.
He was also clear about expanding KBS. He'd like to see us fill it up and this year there are no excuses, all 6 home games are FBS opponents for the first time ever, and all are on Saturdays, oh yeah and we play Miami.
If we want to see KBS expanded let's show our leaders it is needed. The best way to do this is to buy season tickets.
