Demolition of the former Broyhill Inn and Conference Center building is slated to take place this summer, ASU leaders said.

ASU trustees last year approved plans to demolish the Broyhill building and redevelop the property on Bodenheimer Drive, including adjoining tracts. The facility closed to community and campus events several years ago, and after an architect’s study, ASU concluded that renovations of the building would be too costly.

.....

The building will be razed after ASU’s fermentation sciences program fully vacates the building at the end of the semester. The area will then be seeded with grass, and Lovins said the soon-to-be-updated campus master plan would help leaders determine what to do with the site in the future.
Gonna have a good amount of mostly-flat acreage now. You might could put a track and/or soccer field there. :ugeek:

It would make sense for this to be used for that or a new softball field. Might as well put as many of our Olympic sports there as possible.

There was nothing like a Sunday brunch at Broyhill courtesy of the meal plan of the girl you just met the night before. I will miss that place.

Only if they lived on the east side of campus and I didn't feel like walking back to Justice. If they lived in Coltrane or Gardner, absolutely not.
