I have never seen 321 like that. We knew it was coming so we planned accordingly
but Wow!

Agree... We weren't even out of Blocking Rock and the radio show was already over....

It's that one dern light in BR that backs everyone up so much!

It was the same going up on Saturday morning using 421 from W-S. Got stopped in Wilkesboro at that first light, the back-up was mile or more. I said the leaf lookers were asking "why would ASU plan a game duing the leaf season?" and us going to the game were saying "can't they look at leaves at home or on Sunday?!"

It did create a traffic nightmare in the mountains this weekend, coming and going.

Not only the leaf lookers...we also had The Wooly Worm Festival in Banner Elk and the Valle Country Fair in Valle Crucis. Those events along with a huge home game made for a traffic NIGHTMARE!
