Had a chance to watch the scrimmage yesterday and wanted to share some observations:
- A lot of energy on the field and several 2016 commits in attendance
- As expected the defense looks very impressive
- D-line and LBs are getting a lot of pressure
- DBs were dominating with at least a half dozen pass breakups and a pick 6 by Tae Hayes. Exford and Franklin had big hits from the safety position. Duck also made a nice play.
- The offense is missing a lot of starters and it shows at times
- Snaps still appear to be a problem
- Moore looks even better this year and could easily split time with Cox
- The available WRs struggled most of the day with the exception of Burns
- Special teams could be better this year with several new options at returner and no drop off at kicker. Duck was catching punts cleanly and looked fast on returns. Rubino has been solid making most of his field goals.

Re: Scrimmage Observations
I agree, the defense was FAST, and had speed and a very high energy level, I was concerned about the snaps to Tyler as well. The run game was furious, we talked to the team and they said they were excited to play again.
