Yeah, the Piedmont chapter viewing party is in Greensboro. I'm not aware of one in Winston.

Re: Winston-Salem viewing party
Char Bar is not that far away for me, but living closer to Burlington than downtown Gboro (though I am in the city limits of Gboro that is part of McLeansville) I would have a hard time getting over to W-S to watch the game. You could ask a local sports bar it they will help make sure the game is on some screens and you can post it on here. It might hurt the Greensboro attendance some but if getting to Gboro is a no-go then this is better than nothing. Some things make sense as a Triad-wide alumni chapter and some are harder to pull off. I say do whatever works. No reason you can't make an unofficial announcement on an unofficial message board such as YC about hosting an unofficial alumni gathering that works for people closer to W-S and do so without undermining and trying to stick it to the official Triad chapter. Of course I say all of this without having done any of the leg work getting Char Bar 7 set up for us.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.

Yeah, not advocating that a Triad viewing party in Winston. But a separate viewing party in Winston would probably make a lot of sense. I'd organize it myself, but we've got two kids under 3, so we'll be watching from home.

Suits me. I'll even supply the juice boxes. I hope you like cheering quietly. If you wake the baby, you're rocking her back to sleep.

Re: Winston-Salem viewing party
Old Winston Social Club always turns it on whenever I ask.. But I also have a 3 y/o so we'll be watching at home too. Although I might keep her up as long as the game is close.
