#25 Miami -3.5

Unread post by Yosefus » Thu Sep 15, 2016 7:58 pm

We are just 3 years into FBS. We are hosting a storied program that is ranked and are only -3.5 point underdogs. Unbelievable isn't it? Who would have thought 4 years ago we would be having this discussion? What a school what a program. My hope WAS we would be in the conversation 10 years in. Now....Proud to be a Mountaineer!

You were not proud to be a Mountaineer until now. I have been proud to be a Mountaineer for decades. ;)
This is my very generic signature added to each post.

Not good at putting thing together. I meant Now..."insert future of program".
Just impressed at pace of improvements.

It's pretty amazing indeed. A win this Saturday will rapidly accelerate the program as well. This game is a major crossroads for App football. A win will be remembered forever like Michigan in '07! Not as big as Michigan but every bit as important. It's a tipping point.

I agree about the importance of this game. We won a small battle just by getting them to come up to Kidd Brewer. To take care of business and win would be fantastic. Regardless, if our young men come out with the chip that they have had on their shoulder and fight til the end, I will be ok with whatever outcome. App took a couple of steps back just prior to making the transition to FBS but I feel that we are making a case for being back with a vengeance right now.

I really hope you guys pull this out. You def have a great shot at it. Miami will try to go over the top, a lot. It is something that Richt teams have always done. Physical run game and then boom, over the top. I do like the Miami QB, solid arm and makes good decisions with the ball. I think you guys have a good chance to get the W and I will be pulling for you and checking updates on my phone at the game. #GBO

YOu are all over it. Last year U had no running game. This year different story and it allows the QB to go deep. I'm very worried. I am a loyal Mountaineer and I dont bet on my team..........But I'm betting that the line moves up. I see lotsa money taking Miami at-3.5.
