Yeah our defense is terrible. We have no D-line depth at all. Our linebackers are inexperienced and can't tackle and we have to play a freshman DB who hasn't shown anything at all. Tennessee didn't try at all to win and our defense did nothing.

Does that sum it up? Good lord the article was okay right up to that point. To point out national rankings after two games against two crappy Florida directional schools is a reach. Whatever

Interesting stat. According to the depth charts (and this is quick math), the total weight of the teams 1st teams are:

Offense:
Miami- 2,783
App- 2,730

Miami includes a 280lb FB?

Defense:
Miami- 2,610
App- 2,406

And they play a 4-3.
