Let's face it, the stink took care of business in Los Crucis. They will however have to play a better game to beat APP Thursday night as we are not NMSU. BTW, the stinks' linemen look like fat guys and ours look like large athletes. Did anyone else notice this?

They have not been good all year long. There's always the chance they could put it together at any time because they have the talent, but right now were more than halfway through the season and they are not a good team.

As far as their linemen, remember there are always fans fretting about how they're signing 300+ pounders out of high school while we're signing guys who are 250. There's a reason we recruit OL the way we do.

We also can't be inconsistent on offense like we were in the first half yesterday. Our red zone production was poor. We're not rolling into Statesboro as juggernaut ourselves. We'll all take a 4 game win streak, a 3-0 SBC record and, a defense that is playing great but we still have yet to put together a consistent offensive effort. I expect a tough game Thursday.

Ellison hasn't looked full speed (to my untrained eye) for much of the season.

As much as I want to revel in GaSo's struggles and think we can dominate them, I think back to 2013 when we were verging on dumpster status and they came to Boone thinking they could the same thing to us. They would nothing more than to be the team to give us our first conference loss and spoil our hopes of a conference championship.

The stink could easily lose 4 of their last 5 games...maybe all of them. They need to pull out 2 wins to be bowl eligible. Let's hope we are not one of them. They will need the X factor to beat us, but that's always on the table when these two teams meet.

Better not take Georgia Southern lightly, when App and The Stink meet through out the record book. Believe me, it would make their season to take us down. This is one game where we need to be completely focused from start to finish.

Double whammy with this game, it's a rivalry game and a potential trap game for App State. The Mountaineers need to be as focused on execution for this game as any this season, go down to the Stink and punch them square in the mouth.

GS has not had a RB go for over 100 yards since D. Godfrey (who???) did it against Savannah St. in week 1. Yes, you read that correctly!

Their identity has been completely flipped on it's head. I wonder which bathroom their offense uses?!?!

I think Coach will open up the playbook this week more than in previous games. When we take on Troy I believe the playbook will be wide open and we'll be pulling out all the stops!

Turns out that the wise guys think APP isn't much better than the Gumroots. A trip to Gnatsboro will be anything but easy...the rivalry history tells us that. We've taken some bad ass whippings down there.
