Here's to a safe and speedy recovery, but as my daddy always said: "Nothing good happens after midnight."
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

Re: Player Stabbed
I am sure there's a more convenient time to be stabbed, but my take on it is we are lucky we did not have a fatality. Then we would be looking at more convenient times for a life ending tragedy to occur. BTW, what was your point?asu24 wrote:Fighting and stabbed on reading day. And nothing good happens in front of Boone Saloon. I'm eager to hear news about the capture of the coward who pulled a deadly weapon.scatman77 wrote:Here's to a safe and speedy recovery, but as my daddy always said: "Nothing good happens after midnight."

Re: Player Stabbed
219 crossing way is off 105.....Boone Saloon is downtown? Should have been plenty of time for people to cool off. Someone followed someone to the apartments looking for trouble. ADW aint going to go well for someone (who will be claiming self-defense) Could have as easily been a gun and I'm sure Satt read the riot act to the team.

Re: Player Stabbed
I've never understood why people can't just throw hands. This bullshit of brandishing and using weapons is dumb.

Re: Player Stabbed
Back in the day when we had to we used fists to settle issues. Unfortunately now days someone always pulls out a gun or knife. Here's hoping they get the guy that pulled a weapon and that Mr. Fuller has a full recovery. Two young peoples future can be negatively or terminally affected by this kind of thing.

There are still plenty of fist fights to settle differences.SpeedkingATL wrote:Back in the day when we had to we used fists to settle issues. Re: Player Stabbed
I get the point of "nothing good happens after midnight," but did anyone who attended college ever actually give themselves a midnight curfew?

Hell no. I usually didn't end my pre-game and head to the bar/party until midnight. Plenty good happened to me after midnight.

Re: Player Stabbed
He won't flunk classes for missed exams. The Dean of Students and his professors will work with his academic advisors to work out a time to take them when he's able to. Most likely he'll be given an Incomplete for each class and will have the until the end of Summer 2 to complete his finals.asu24 wrote:So glad the kid is ok. Hopefully he'll make a complete recovery. But. If he misses final exams and flunks a couple classes will he be ineligible for next fall?
