Re: Satterfield Interviews
Hope he stays but coaches come and coaches go. We’ll all still be here either way. My jersey won’t change. Wish Nothing but the best for him either way!

Re: Satterfield Interviews
He'd be silly not to see what else is out there. App will always be a stepping stone in the grand scheme of coaching progressions. I'll enjoy the best while they're in Boone and wish them well when their journeys continue elsewhere.
For now, Satterfield is our coach and we've got two games left in the season. #BeatLouisiana

Its sad that GASO coach just got hired and only makes about 14K less than our coach.

I am not sad. It remains a job others would like to have. When it no longer is, I will be sad.ASUchipman wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2017 4:59 pmIts sad that GASO coach just got hired and only makes about 14K less than our coach.

Re: Satterfield Interviews
What remains on Coach Sat's contract? That being said I'm sure a nice P5 would buy it out.

Re: Satterfield Interviews
From what I am reading, Moorhead of Penn State, Pruitt of Bama, The DC of Clemson and Scott's buddy, Jason Candle of Toledo are at the top of their list. Neil Brown was also mentioned. Scott has heady company for that job....if he is interested.

Re: Satterfield Interviews
I was curious as to what Miss State fans thought of Satterfield so I went to their message board to see. While their were a few that were vouching for his talent with the Xs and Os, most were like this:
“Satterfield would be very underwhelming. If next years roster can’t get us someone who can go undefeated in the sun belt, I’ll be extremely disappointed”
“I think we are beyond Satterfield.”

Mississippi State: Joe Moorhead will be the next head coach at Mississippi State reports Brett McMurphy who adds the deal is expected to become official in the coming days. More here on the hire.

Re: Satterfield Interviews
I might also be a case of Satt leveraging the administration for a pay raise, which if feasible he deserves.

Re: Satterfield Interviews
He does, but if any SEC school is serious about hiring him then any pay raise we offer would be irrelevant.

Re: Satterfield Interviews
Quite honestly, if any P5 wants an interview it would do him and his family a disservice by not sitting for the interview. Doesn't mean he will take it or be offered, but it gets his name out there as an up and coming coach to be considered at that level. Personally, I love what he's brought to our program and would like to see him retire from App, but I can't complain if he chooses to leave at some point. He's done his all for App.
