2017 BOWL GAME BUS CONFIRMED. 10 SEATS REMAIN! (12/19/2017 UPDATED Pricing)

BUS IS CONFIRMED. 22 RIDERS WITH ROOM FOR 10 MORE!!! $190 PER PERSON.

Currently 16 confirmed paid riders. With the donated money that puts us at $271 a person which I know won’t work. I have 12 possibles but half of those are probably out depending on situations. So if we get 7 more to 23 we can make it work at $190 a piece if the current 16 are good at $190 a person, then as we get more riders hopefully the price would come down. Can see the price if we were to get to 28. I also may have a few more donated but would like to get as many actual fans on the bus to be able to go that want to.

To all: I just got off the phone with the bus company. Same company we used the past two years, same drivers. By his computer it is max 11 hr trip. Google will tell you 9.5hrs. So here is the prelim itinerary if everyone still wants to go.

$5,400 plus $100 tip ($50 for each driver) – 54 riders max = $101 per person. Currently at 20 riders. Most i would go is $122 if we got to $45 riders. Need to confirm the bus by 12/15/2017
Drivers have to be off the clock for 8 hrs – All computerized as of 12/18 so no getting around this.

Leave WS around 4-4:30. (Dentist off off stratford behind arrigatos) Think he was planning to get there at 4 so we would leave at 4:30.
Pick up in charlotte at 6. Leave charlotte at 6:30 or sooner. (Lowes in belmont)
Possible ATL stop around 9:30 for ATL fans. (Publix at 285/75)
Puts us in Mobile around 2:30CST time.
Off 8 hrs would put us being able to leave at 10:30 after the game.
Puts us back to Winston around 9:30 to 10:30

Please let me know that you are still confirmed. Once we get close enough to make it happen I will sign contract and start requesting payment. Last year people mailed checks or sent through paypal. I will have to confirm and sign contract by the Friday 12/15/2017 before the trip and would like to have all payments by then.

Testing the waters for interest in the same trip as last year if app plays in dec 16 in either the cure or camellia bowl. If they do and there is enough interest, I will Get a bus together and try for same cost and itinerary as last year. Down and back!

I also think the trip is too long to do a down and back as it is 9-10 hrs to mobile and prolly closer to 11 with a stop and traffic being Christmas weekend and game doesn’t start till 7. I also haven’t received much interest either. Last year 45 people went and it cost right at $100 a person.

I have called H AND R who I used Last year for a bus leaving at 5-6 Saturday am and leaving around 11 returning to Winston around 8-9 Sunday morning. He is supposed to call me in the am.

The guy sounded like he would make it work. Didn’t think it was much different than last year. I got the pass to go. We took a cruise out of mobile from the asheville area.. it was about 8 hrs down with a stop or two ...but coming back sucked something awful seemed to take forever and you add an hour for time change FYI .

Thanks guys! Maybe we will get there. Will def have a stop in Charlotte and if needed one in Atlanta might could make it happen as long as it is easy. Right now we will keep it at Charlotte. We use a Lowe’s parking lot that an app alum manages for pick up. I will get all info tomorrow from bus company on itinerary and post an updated topic.

There will be a pick up in ws off Stratford road behind arrigatos at a medical office where an app alum lets us park. Then there would be one in Charlotte most likely at the same Lowe’s as last year.
