I work with a lot of Gamecock alums, they are borderline intolerable. I hope we show up to play and take care of business.

My daughter is a sophomore at South Carolina. Guess we’ll be a house divided in 2019.

The idiots on their board need to get over it. They played Wofford last year and have Troy and GaSTa on their schedules............

Got my master’s at USC and grew up not far from there. I’m very excited for this series. (Though I’m not even slightly conflicted. I hope to be there for all three games in my black and gold.)

I was at the game last time we played down in Columbia. If memory serves they barely beat us. We were happy but those Gamecock fans were unbearable.
It depends on what you call close. The last time we played them, we lost 35-9 in 1988. We beat them 39-34 in 1975, the same year we beat them, Wake and ECU.

Best thing that could happen for me. Love my Apps and finishing up my MBA at SC this summer. And it won't be a house divided for me...Apps all the way!

I don't think 2018 and 2019 schedules are strong enough for NY6 bowl.
In my imperfect opinion, going undefeated will be enough to make the NY6 in any year where the AAC or Mountain West champ is not undefeated. Exhibit A: Western Michigan. The MAC is frequently rated as the worst conference in G5 - about as often as the SBC.

Being G5 effectively puts the playoff out of reach, but going undefeated gives a solid chance at the NY6 bid.

And lost to Western , keeping us out of the Tangerine Bowl , as my faded memory recalls...

Perhaps I was tipsy.

I can relate. Same reason we lost to Miami by 3 after I beat the life out of "unk nasty" early in the 2nd quarter and same reason we beat wf last year like Paddy beat the drum 40-20

Had an exchange with a SC fan, said Bama doesn’t travel to places like that. I said Bama doesn’t even do True road games vs P5s. He said he wants SC to be like Bama, I responded I’d like to be Brad Pitt.

Most others I’ve spoke to are excited about having a team with solid fans come down and would like a weekend in the mountains.

When P5s don't bitch about playing us at home I will know our program is not threatening,

If I remember that 1988 game against SC, App played them tough for a while and racked up quite a bit of yardage on the ground with John Settle and Tim Sanders both having excellent days. SC pulled away in the second half but I'm working from memory.

I think that was the '85 game when they beat us 20-13.

That sounds closer to accurate. Thanks!

Good luck finding a room anywhere near Boone.
