S&P ... Supposing and Pontificating. We all do it. But if you use numbers, analytics, algorithms and other tedious stuff, you are supposedly smart. Some just take a guess using experience, common sense and a good noggin (hunches), like Casey Stengel did. I never did like the numbers game though it makes sense.

For any particular game one can toss out stats. Injuries, getting high the night before, sickness doesn't count into most stats. But it is easy enough to check predictions after the game. Some of these predictions do a decent job, enough that one could make some money off betting.

But like the weather there are sooo many variables getting it all fine tuned is not easy, but it doesn't mean they should be ignored.
