"You cannot delete posts in this forum."

Mods, why aren't we permitted to delete an unintentional double post?
I have the occasionally double post and I am almost always able to delete the 2nd post if I do so immediately and put a reason in where requested.

I am going to double post this is possible and then try to delete.

---
I was able to delete the second post and then delete the first post and I am now posting a third time (since the first two posts are now deleted) which I am not deleting but it is working for me at present.

What I could not do is delete the first post until I deleted the second identical post before and then the first post was also able to be deleted.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.

I feel like we have under reported weights the past couple of years, I’m fine with that - just another head game. Damn that 260 pounder just put you in the dirt.
I think we've always tended to under-report weights. We've had guys listed at the same weight as their freshman year when we knew they had bulked up. Acitelli was listed in the 260's for most of his time at App but his father was on the board and confirmed he was more like 290. Disclaimer: I'm dredging that up from memory, so I might have some details wrong.
Seems like a strange and unnecessary practice. Honestly we should probably be beyond that as a program wheather it's intentional or not. If we want to be treated big time, we need to behave like a big time program.
I am neither defending or condemning the practice, but I do think it happens at all levels, so I don't think being "beyond" this kind of thing is an issue. In recent years, App State has consistently been slow to release information of any sort (injuries, published size of players, etc.). It fits with the culture of the program so I have no problem with it. We should and do prove we are "big time" on the field. I'm not really concerned about the website or any other venue for purposes of proving that.
