Might as well try to get into the same area like others are doing for UNCC.
If you buy a parking pass in advance you can park in any yellow lot on this map: http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/psu ... arking.pdf
We should all pick one of those lots to tailgate in.

Flying to PIT Saturday morning from ATL (cutting it close) - have younger son Friday night lights the night before. My older son is FR linebacker for APP. My wife and father are PSU alums, and I played at nearby Bucknell. Staying in RV parking lot at stadium with wife's family that lives outside PIT and are also PSU alums. Fear not, will be sporting our black and gold though!!

Congrats on the linebacker! Hope he loves App, has a great career, and gets the degree he's after.bird9954 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 01, 2018 3:09 pmFlying to PIT Saturday morning from ATL (cutting it close) - have younger son Friday night lights the night before. Excited to see all the App State fans. If you can, try to get up Friday night to hit the bars. It’s going to be a good time and you will probably get free drinks at some point.

My office is two buildings over from it. The hotel is brand new and very nice. IMO, it is where I would stay if I were visiting due to is proximity to everything.

For the Phillies game, I highly recommend you park at Chickie and Pete’s and take the crab bus to the stadium. It is WAY faster getting out when the game is done. Chickie and Pete’s isn’t so bad either... get some crab fries.

Making a trip of it. 7 guys, 5 App and 2 Penn state Alum taking a RV up. Stopping in DC thursday night for a impromptu bachelor party. Get to state college friday night and staying for the game Saturday. Then back to DC for the DC united vs Atlanta United MLS game since we have a friend who coaches the DC academy. Gonna be a good weekend.

Had my bachelor party in D.C., and currently live a little over a hour outside of D.C. Let me know if you need some suggestions of areas/bars or if you're having a stereotypical bachelor party, I know a few places too.AAPP1 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 02, 2018 8:27 amMaking a trip of it. 7 guys, 5 App and 2 Penn state Alum taking a RV up. Re: Penn St. Roll Call
It is a Cambodian bachelor party for an American friend. So we don't know what is going to happen. Likely just dinner and drinks.

Re: Penn St. Roll Call
Trying my best. My coworker screwed me and took vacation the week prior to the game. IE I can't take time off. IE I have to be on the air until AT LEAST 7pm Friday night. Lucky me, my buddy is a pilot and we're trying to fly up Friday night or Saturday morning. He, however, has training to receive his next level of certification that could fall on that weekend. We've made every big money game since NC State so it would be a shame if the streak came to an end.
