The GS defense looked better than I recall from last year. USA still lacks discipline and had way too many penalties.

They have improved on the field and they have designated seats with free beer perks this year.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.underd ... ub-seating

“Eagles fans had long enjoyed luxury boxes on the home side, but the new addition included open-air seats protected by the upper deck on the visitor's side. While they aren't cheap, requiring a $1,200 donation plus the cost of tickets, they come with perks like chairback seating, enormous TVs in plain view and free beer through the end of the third quarter.”

This App team is at a different level than our conference brethren. We are loaded and really good at all 3 phases and on offense we are equally good at running and passing the ball. No weaknesses my friends.

The East division of the Sunbelt looks good this year and I think we can win out also...but them bunch of inbreeds still stink down there.
Beat Arky State!!
Now this is funny. You hilljacks calling us inbreeds? Have you actually ever been to Boone or are you just a TV fan? There are some hollers up there so far back they have to funnel sunshine. I heard The Dead South wrote their song "Banjo Odyssey" after making a trip through Boone on their way to a show in Ashville.

You really went back 17 days, on another school's board to find something to reply to?

Has "87ASUgrad" ever been to Boone? Think about it... slowly.

Not to mention, absolutely NO ONE goes to Statesboro to vacation while thousands travel to Boone for vacation every year.

Wow, I didn't know GSU fans would be reading this too. OK then, I will try to type slower for you guys. If you are still having trouble reading this, go get your Mom, sister, and cousin...whatever you are calling her today...maybe you can make it out between the two of you.

I would argue that Boone has become too modernized for my taste. I’m a longtime season ticket holder and graduate, I miss the two lane Hwy321 and small feel of Boone. Nevertheless, Boone is still an awesome place to be on a Fall Saturday. Clearly these GS fans have not been to Boone lately..... of course, I wouldn’t either if my team had a bad history against App.

I can get from Charlotte to Boone in under 2 hours via 321....I dont miss 2 lane road at all and we have more than Ray's or Tony's Pizza.....Tha nk God for modernization

Haha, I didn’t say I hate it, just said it modernized quick! Growth is inevitable in a place I would consider “Heaven on Earth”.
I get from Gastonia to Boone in just over an hour and a half, which is great for those early peewee football Saturday’s coaching my son before App Games.
I do still prefer the local eateries, but am glad there are more of them and glad there are chain restaurants for others to pack out. You will always catch me at The Rock eating wings and downing a beer with the family postgame....miss the old Town Tavern though. Peppers is a must when it gets cold because their French Onion soup is killer.

You speak wisdom. Not only because you agree with me (and I with you). But, you are absolutely correct.

The real question is: How long will it take to convince GaSo that App is a much better football team? My guess is perhaps as early as mid-2nd quarter. Usually only the military schools will never admit that the other side is better.

Thursday night: resistance is futile.

We will try and keep the score as civil as possible to avoid humiliating you and your team. Go Eagles.

Another Dead South fan!?!?! Awesome. Safe travels and feel free to stop by our tailgate in the Performing Arts lot. PM me for my cell # if you want.

That goes for anyone making the trip... open invitation. Apparently we will be having chili tomorrow.
