QUESTION:

Has there ever been (3) games on the same field between the same 2 opponents in a less than 1 year time frame, such as this will now be?
Dunno about that but Middle TN played UAB at Middle TN today and they will be playing AGAIN next week at Middle TN for their conf champ game... that's same game at same place back to back weeks.

Winner of that game plays winner of our game at bowl in Nola
Did CUSA announce a similar arrangement with the NOLA Bowl as the Sun Belt? Unless I missed it in the last couple weeks, the CUSA champion gets to pick their bowl destination, so it's not necessarily New Orleans.

This is incredibly ridiculous hearsay, but I saw a post regarding a rumor regarding college gameday potentially coming to Boone next weekend.

My goal isn’t to spread this or provide any level of veracity behind it, I’m simply asking if anyone else has heard anything of the sort?
Somehow with the SEC Championship, the big ten Championship, the pac-12 championship, the ACC Championship, the AAC championship and the rest if the G5 championship games next Saturday; I am most certain that will not happen.
Agreed. It’s ludicrous. I just saw it and thought it so ridiculous that it had to be based off something. I think because it was so ridiculous, it actually made me believe it may be a possibility.
The great thing is because we're the lead in game right after game day they'll be talking about us a lot and probably show some live shots pregame perhaps. Always good to have top ESPN coverage...
Like AppinVa said, we’ve come a long way! In the end it all helps to continue to build our brand and hopefully have an increasingly positive impact on recruiting.

It would be nice though. Kirk could do GameDay, watch App play while eating cupcakes, and still make it to Charlotte in time for ACC game
...and we could be piping in Burt Bacharach music to boot!!
