Re: Early: possible replacements?
I'm still holding out for Scott's return to his KBS digs for another campaign. More worried about Ga Tech than UL.
If the roof caves in on us, I don't think we have a guy with the gravitas and the charisma for the #1 job. On the other hand, we need enough staff holdovers to lock down this December's recruiting class and our young players--true freshmen, redshirts and sophomores--those most likely to have the urge to transfer elsewhere out of the disappointment of losing Satterfield. That will be an issue for guys like Peoples. We can't allow that to happen if we can avoid it.
If we lose Scott we'll lose some impact players (not necessarily following Scott just going elsewhere). It's inevitable unless DG has a surprise or two up his sleeve.

How do you figure? If he goes to Tech, Woody has his defensive staff in place.

The S&C coach will definitely follow Satterfield wherever he goes.

Re: Early: possible replacements?
You are correct. Sorry to see him leave but we should be able to get a suitable replacement. Pounce will go with Satt as well. He has said as much in the past. I don’t know this to be fact, but I would imagine that his first choice would be to pull Ledford From NC State and make him an Assistant HC and OL coach. Would probably like to have Lonnie Galloway as his WR coach too. These are just my thoughts and not rumors.

You mean "Scooter"
Re: Early: possible replacements?
If Satt leaves, you guys might want to ponder this. The new head coach at App State may just come from within. Would keep stability, and would calm the players down....I got an idea who it may be but will leave it at that.

Re: Early: possible replacements?
I don’t believe that there is anyone in the current staff that is ready for the job. My opinion.

Re: Early: possible replacements?
There is someone who I believe wants the job and would keep some of the staff that wouldn’t go. (And it is not the one in Atlanta right now) however Doug has proven himself time and time again so I trust him.

Re: Early: possible replacements?
Very true. But he essentially a part of Brown’s defensive staff. How would it be received by Brown to now have to report to him?

I like the Ruffin McNeil choice as well if forced to deal with Satt skeedaddling!
