1. Undefeated in 2019 or 2020 and 11 or more wins both years
2. Clean off the field- continue the culture
3. Brings in some rising coaches from P5 programs who have recruiting ties to really give us a strong finish this year and big time class next year.
4) Free chocolate.
5) Live unicorn halftime shows.
6) Unlimited ice in unlimited cups.

Look at our roster. Look at how many All-SBC players are back and that we are heavy on sophomores this year. Look at what we did this year. Are you telling me you don't expect a SBC title the next two years in a row? NDSU has blown away what anyone else in FCS has ever done because they have HIGH expectations and stay focused year to year. I look at it as going 1-0 every week but our goal should 100% be to hit big on some recruits and to win titles. Why would we hire someone from Alabama if our AD did not feel the same way?
I would not be okay with any coach coming in and going 6-6 or 7-5 next year. To me anything less than 10-11 wins heading into the bowl game next year is unacceptable.

Will you allow DG to have any input before you fire the new coach if he only has 9 wins going into the bowl?

Looks like Gattis isn’t going to Temple. Manny Diaz is getting the G5 big bucks.

If this is true, we may be making moves on him. Exciting, to say the least.

I'm sure DG has the high expectation that our 2018 coaches had and the players had. I'm going to trust DG on this one. I think we as donors and alumni should put pressure if the new coach comes in and we don't win the SBC and see a decline in wins over the next couple years. 2019 and 2020 are being billed as our best teams ever. We have some great players. In fact, I bet if our entire roster were able to be free agents that Satterfield would gladly take 20-25 of them to Louisville or you would see that many at a P5 program. The coaches accumulated a ton of talent. I'm not saying 20-25 who would be all-stars but they could all start or play a lot somewhere in the ACC, SEC, etc.

Gattis is only 34. He has been on staff with Alabama and Alabama is as bright lights and big time as a college football program gets. So, is He going to be willing to make a serious commitment to APP? Or, does he just see a real easy stepping stone in APP that he can use to make a quicker leap as a head coach to a bigger program? We have a ton of talent on this team. If we keep rolling in the win department, my only concern with him is he may bail for a bigger gig after only 1 or 2 years. I really don't want APP to have to do this again that soon. I know we are not going to get another coach to stay for years like Jerry Moore did, but I would hope would get someone to stay at least 6 years or so like Scott did.

We are a stepping stone for every 5 years of success
Thats the way it works for G5 schools. Gotta hope were consistent enough to actually hold onto talent eventually.

He’s still an Alabama employee until he signs with us. That’s my only argument
He was definitely there though:
