Re: New Head Coach - Eliah Drinkwitz
I still remember the pain of eating a single “waiver wing”. The sweat was pouring the second it touched my tongue.
Monday wing night was a staple for us tech theatre kids when we got off from work backstage in the late 90’s.

Add in since closed Blowing Rock bars, and NC BBQ styles, and you’ve pretty much summed up the history of this message board since its inception some 20 years ago.appstatealum wrote: ↑Sat Dec 15, 2018 10:26 amTry and keep up Rek...

Ah. Where Picadilly Cafe and Groupers(?) were? I know the spot, but still can't recall Delorees. Suffering from CRS syndrome.

Any town with drive-thru daiquiri stands can’t be all bad.

Now, my fellow Yosef Club member had breakfast with DG at a function this am. Coach Drinkwitz was there and spoke. My friend was impressed.

Re: New Head Coach - Eliah Drinkwitz
I've had a ton of discussions with former players, alumni and fans down here. It is def a house divided, but my buddy had a great discussion with DG and came out of it very happy.
Man, the drive home will be tough tomorrow based on how this night is looking.....

Did you see the comments by the former coaches? Very complementary.

I don't post JUST to piss people off.... I can't help my posts offend the koolaid drinkers. I hope you guys and gals (jcline), get a chance to gloat at how good a coach Drink turns out to be. I don't have a crystal ball. I don't know the future. I have no special insight into the workings of App State football. What I do have is love for my school and an opinion, which like an @nus sometimes stinks. My opinion is that this wasn't our best hire. It is what it is. Only time will tell. With that, I bid you all adieu until the next enjoyable thread is started where I will use it as a platform to further my takeover of Earth. If you have some self awareness about who we are, meaning Saban ain’t applying for this job, I don’t see how someone could be so negative about this hire. This guy is extremely well regarded in his profession. Is a bright young offensive mind. Has been a coordinator for 4-5 years at big time football programs. I mean really. Whether or not he was on the radar as a candidate for any of us fans is 100% irrelevant.
