I meant that as a general statement. I have no idea who will be staying. I have seen things on here that I know for a fact came out of someones imagination. Never asked him but I would guess Moose and others have seen the same. All I would wish for is that fact not be intermingled with supposition.

I agree, some people post things and you can't tell if it's based on a source or just a wild ass opinion but it's stated with confidence as if it's fact...I trust Moose and a few others I've notice that seem to have reliable sources...bcoach wrote: ↑Tue Dec 18, 2018 2:55 pmI meant that as a general statement. Oh. Shwew! Thought you meant here. The defensive coordinator at Tech, from what I understand, is going to be Andrew Thacker. He was at Temple with Collins and is a GA native. Also the step son of a very well-known high school football coach in the state.Yosef10 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 18, 2018 2:46 pm97 is correct. Roof to GT is the word.

Seen Shiel Wood's floated around on twitter by a few people as someone they would bring in for our role if Woody doesn't want it.

Pardon me.. but if it's Ted Roof... One might say... "The Roof, the Roof... The Roof could be on fire... "... that could be meant in many ways....

Satt taking Ivey might be a blessing in disguise. Drink can choose whomever he wants and it’s not like he got rid of Ivey, Ivey left us. The players should have no hard feelings toward Drink over this.

I saw someone on the NC State board mention they thought Roof was in Boone today, possibly interviewing. That would be an absolute disaster, Ted Roof uses passive/play not to lose defense. It's exactly opposite of our aggressive attacking style. I would be furious if Drink brought him on staff.appgrad wrote: ↑Tue Dec 18, 2018 3:03 pmOh. Shwew! Thought you meant here. You got a link for this? Or can you direct me to the site? Not seeing anything about this on Pack Pride.Boroneer10 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 18, 2018 6:21 pmI saw someone on the NC State board mention they thought Roof was in Boone today, possibly interviewing. Inside Pack Sports, it's a pay site so you won't be able to access the thread.Yosef10 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 18, 2018 8:31 pmYou got a link for this? Or can you direct me to the site? I just realized that Lonnie Galloway was coaching at Louisville..... Looks like Satt replaced him as Co-offensive coordinator.

Yes, Lonnie is now WR coach at UNC. Had been at Louisville 4 seasons.

It is/was overblown in this forum, but I agree 100%. This dodges a potential huge political sticking point, both within the coaching staff, with the players, and with the fans.MAD Doctor wrote: ↑Tue Dec 18, 2018 5:57 pmSatt taking Ivey might be a blessing in disguise. Re: Keep Ivey and as much of this current staff as possible
Ivey is Satt’s right hand. It would have taken a lot to keep him, like $ and an AHC and DC title. From what I was hearing in NO, that was not in the cards right now. All former coaches have a passion for the program and I wouldn’t be surprised to see some back one day,Gonzo wrote: ↑Wed Dec 19, 2018 3:16 pmIt is/was overblown in this forum, but I agree 100%. After the press conference, I came away thinking that Clark was the guy Drink was more enamored with keeping around. I think the next guy with a strong hand on the team will be the DC, and it sounds like Drink is going to take his time finding the right guy to compliment his vision.

Re: Keep Ivey and as much of this current staff as possible
It is certainly ironic that so many people were already getting upset about Ivey being "snubbed" for HC or DC, demanding we try to keep him etc. The shoe ended up being on the other foot and he took off for more $ despite our efforts to retain him.
I think segment of our fanbase has learned a valuable lesson from this coaching transition.

Could someone please go over to the stadium and secure THE ROCK before it becomes an entitlement?
