Re: TX St discussion
watching the replay after the commercial it was the correct call. We've killed 2 drives with picking up first downs on 3rd down only to be negated by penalties. We were due to get a break in the ebb & flow of college football.. That being said we we would be losing to at least 8 different Sunbelt teams right now with the way we've played today. Thank goodness we got the Bobcats.

Guess we are just going to run the ball the rest of the game and squeak out a win against an opponent that we should blow out.

Agreed on all counts. I didn't mean it wasn't correct, I meant that we need all the help we can get, including from officials.yosefederation wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 4:45 pmwatching the replay after the commercial it was the correct call. Another nice td run by Evans! He has been impressive this year, I really wish we got him more touches during the games. Homerun threat every time he touches the ball.

If you look at his touches by game throughout the year it’s been 20 or 21 in almost every game. The staff is going a good job of managing his play so that we can have his be as fresh as possible for these last few games.

I'm more concerned with Temple S. Florida & Utah St. games. We win out G. Spot state & ga. Stink game is meaningless. Still love hearing anytime ga stink losing though.

Re: TX St discussion
I know, I wish they were in the 25-30 touches range. He is a stud and I think he could handle the extra workload and be fine. Hell, I think he would excel. I understand the current line of thinking in football is to spread the touches around to more players but I think sometimes it goes too far and limits some players from achieving their best. I am not advocating 35-45 touches at all, but I think 25-30 is reasonable.InFor6More wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 4:56 pmIf you look at his touches by game throughout the year it’s been 20 or 21 in almost every game. Re: TX St discussion
An App win and a stAte win over Stink hands us the Sun Belt East championship! Today! That's worthy of mention, me thinks.yosefederation wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 4:57 pmI'm more concerned with Temple S. Florida & Utah St. games. We win out G. Spot state & ga. Yes, asu66, wrapping it up today!
I am glad our coaches and players have more patience than our fans in working a game plan.

Oh, looks like no help from Navy or SF.
