Troy Tickets
I called the App State ticket office and was told Tory was sold out. I called Troy and the guys said he had taken several orders today from App fans. We were allotted two sections in the corner on the App side. I got seats on the 35 yard line in section 105 behind the App bench for $10 per ticket. It is the section right beside our allotment of 101 and 103. I was told there are plenty seats still available in that section. The guy was really polite and commented on how well we travel. He said he was glad because it makes the games more fun for everyone. Its a 9 hour drive but I am not missing anymore games this year!

Re: Troy Tickets
Thanks for the info. Wife and I are contemplating whether we should go, we have only missed two games this season.

Troy is a great place to tailgate and watch football. I'm looking forward to being there again this year.

Re: Troy Tickets
Thanks for the info. We were kind of waiting to see what the season/Thanksgiving time period would bring before deciding whether to head towards Troy or in another direction for a few days of R&R. We're in the midst of a great run this year and so the wife and I really want to keep the UL and South Al games as the only "misses" of the season...so we're heading south on Thanksgiving evening. I just got off the phone with a real friendly guy at Troy (Ryan in the ticket office) and have followed your lead and secured 2 tickets in Section 105, row 5, for $10 a pop. Not a bad deal, not GA State good...but it'll doAppster99 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 2:34 pmI called the App State ticket office and was told Tory was sold out. Thanks for the info. Will be in Pensacola for Thanksgiving so no reason to miss this one. Any info on parking?

Re: Troy Tickets
Ryan at the Troy ticket office passed this along to me via email in regards to parking:
"As for parking, majority of lots on campus are season ticket lots. However, on the west side of campus there is free parking (first come first serve). Most people that do not have passes will parking on the streets that are adjacent to the stadium. Homeowners will often open up their yards for parking and charge anywhere from $10-$20. If you park at the square in downtown Troy they offer a free shuttle to the stadium. If you are staying at a hotel in Troy some of them also offer free shuttle services."

Re: Troy Tickets
Just saw they are giving away 2 FREE tickets to all of their season ticket holders. I believe every road conference opponent has run big promotions for when the Apps come to town.

Re: Troy Tickets
Admittedly, Black Friday evening is a tough sell. It should be easier to sell than those Thanksgiving weekend FCS First-Round Playoff games but still. I'm looking forward to being there in Troy though - big game!asucrutch23 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 12:43 pmJust saw they are giving away 2 FREE tickets to all of their season ticket holders. Re: Troy Tickets
We found an Airbnb loft not far from the stadium for Saturday night. Making the drive Saturday morning then staying the night. Didnt want to drive 9 hours, watch the game, then drive back 9 hours.
Re: Troy Tickets
Appster my records show the game Friday night. Just booked Days Inn as well. Not many options that don't require 2 night minimum.

Re: Troy Tickets
When I went last time parking was no problem. Free in a lot near stadium at some university building. With no students I can’t imagine parking will be a problem. You could stay back near 85 or even head back towards ATL. Troy is not hotel visitor friendly.

Of course it is, seems to be a trend for the last half of the season.AtlantaMountaineer wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2019 6:25 pmLong term forecast for Dec 7th in Boone is freezing rain.![]()

Re: Troy Tickets
As of today I still have not received my tix for Troy. I called their ticket office and spoke to Ryan. This young man gets customer service! He was calm and reassuring it isn't a problem. He put me on a brief hold and told me he needed to check on something. When he came back he told me he wasn't sure why I had not received my tickets but they would reprint them and they would be waiting for me at will call. All ticket offices should have their "Ryan". He just confidently made it happen.
