Conference Championship Tix
Re: Conference Championship Tix
Every little bit helps - even $30. Keep in mind, it's not YOUR parking space, it's the university's spot. You paid for your Yosef fee for 6 games, you got it. Now they have to hire people for a 7th game, it's not a big deal guys, y'all are looking at it all wrong!
BTW, this 'hurts' for me to pay it too...but I'd rather pay $30 to athletics than $20 for some random lot in Boone or $30 to eat out for lunch on Dec. 7th.
Each dollar makes an impact. Let's assume costs are 50% of $30 parking, that's $30k to Athletics! That's at LEAST 1 scholarship!!!!

Re: Conference Championship Tix
Seems the Sun Belt should pick up the extra costs to host the Championship Game.
Re: Conference Championship Tix
Last year the Athletic Dept was able to cover the cost of security and parking due to the cancelled game against S Miss. This year seventh home game added cost for security and parking. At first I did not like either, now I understand why. $35 and $30 is still a bargain. My crowd will be there!! I think the KO will be at noon on ESPN2!!

Confirmed Noon kick off on ESPN, now we just need to handle business this weekend and make sure it's in Boone.

Miss cancellation, so we hadn't spent our full season's worth of game management funds, 3) should there be excess funds from the parking fee, the funds will go directly to help fill in the scholarship fund deficit.
Scholarship fund deficit? Yes! The total scholarship bill is roughly $6,000,000. Yosef donations are under $4,000,000.
Please think of the $30 parking fee as an investment in future championships. Thanks.
IMO think of it as a #TIGMA charge.

To be fair they are giving the club seat holders a heavy discount, $50/ticket is a steal for that game.
The $35 ticket price is really quite the value as well.

We would be glad to pay a surcharge on concessions, since it takes so much
more $$ to put on a 7th game. Every little bit helps.

Don't doubt that it costs money to put on an extra game, but how did we do this in 2005-2007, when we played 3 post season games each season at home. No parking surcharge at that time. In addition, based upon what I have seen at games this year, there has been a definite lack of competent ushers to keep people from loitering in front of fans in the upper level of the East stands.TurfMonkey wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2019 6:07 pmWe would be glad to pay a surcharge on concessions, since it takes so much

Re: Conference Championship Tix
We make this difficult for ticket holders and staff. I only want to purchase four of my six season tickets, but there isn't an option to select which tickets you'd like to buy. No wonder the ticket office hasn't been able to take my call all morning.
We are extremely behind the technology curve, or perhaps I am and there's a way to accomplish this.

Ok got through, there isn't a way to remove or add tickets due to system limitations. The lady apologized, but I replied I feel more sorry for those in the ticket office during these weeks.
This functionality is available on most other ticketing platforms, I wonder what fees Neulion charges versus others.

Re: Conference Championship Tix
The parking $$ doesn't bother me. I think why some are irritated is that it was a surprise, as in we just assumed if we got Yosef parking for the regular season that we'd get a space for the SB Championship game too. The surprise part of it made it feel like a money grab.
We choose to give to Yosef to make our program the best it can be. Gotta give some to get back. Considering the number of donors and our level of donations in comparison to other similar programs, I think what our football program has given me in terms of sustained excellence far surpasses what I've given to it.

I'd just wait until right after the deadline then order your normal seats online. I doubt there will be a huge rush Saturday morning.Saint3333 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2019 11:11 amOk got through, there isn't a way to remove or add tickets due to system limitations. The Sun Belt DOES give the host team money to cover game day expenses...

Then what additional expenses does App have to cover to host the game?

Andy, the thing is, I'm pretty sure back in later 1-aa playoff days we could "check" a box beside which seats we wanted to purchase..Saint3333 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2019 10:33 amWe make this difficult for ticket holders and staff. Re: Conference Championship Tix
Was not able to get through on the phone to anyone in the ticket office on Wednesday. What irritates me the most, as some others have mentioned, that I can not select which tickets I wanted. And looking on my invoice history, the order was “placed” on 11/12. Just wish there was better communication about this prior to last week.
