Re: Spring Practice
One has to wonder how far ahead we are over teams that got in no spring practice. If it is none, or not much, then why have it at all?

Re: Spring Practice
I wonder if the NCAA will allow the fall camp to start earlier since the spring schedule was interrupted?

Re: Spring Practice
I know football isn’t and shouldn’t be a priority right now but I was thinking they could stagger practice times and do single position groups.keeps the groups small. Coaches only meet by video conference and each group stays to its room. Not going to happen but it could have been worked out.

Re: Spring Practice
Given the turnover in staff, the time was valuable if for nothing more than familiarity.

Re: Spring Practice
Let me clarify that I believe a lot is accomplished during spring practice. I don’t want to later hear that nothing really is.

Re: Spring Practice
Think of it this way. The premise for starting Spring Ball early is to allow for more time to focus on strength and conditioning. The fact that we got more in than anyone else was a fortunate outcome. But yes. Based on reports out of camp, there was a lot of player development that will benefit depth in the fall.

Re: Spring Practice
Why do I get the feeling the NCAA is going to somehow hold the fact that we had most of our spring practice against us later?
