Re: Schedule Fillers
I have a big imagination, a modern times same season H & H with Notre Dame would be the stuff of legend. A guy can dream. But since they are ACC for football do they have to stick to the OOC ban also?

Re: Schedule Fillers
At this point hoping for a full Spring Season, may be a better option than a truncated fall schedule

Re: Schedule Fillers
Agreed. There have been comments in other forums that a full spring schedule would not be feasible as NFL will not change draft date and some players may elect to not play to prepare for draft. If certain amount of players elect to make that decision, great for those players and their future opportunities. All teams could still field a team and play full schedule. Hosting the Sunbelt Championship game in KBS during the Spring calendar... awesome!!!
Hopefully we discover a vaccine and things get back to be more normalized..the new normal.. whatever that will be.

Re: Schedule Fillers
Notre Dame isn't ACC for football. They are ACC for basketball and have a scheduling agreement for football. I believe they play 5 ACC games, but not a full schedule and not eligible for conference title. I know you're just talking dreams, but I would love playing them. I hate Notre Dame. At this point, I'm just hoping we play at all.GreatAppSt wrote: ↑Fri Jul 10, 2020 2:14 pmI have a big imagination, a modern times same season H & H with Notre Dame would be the stuff of legend. Re: Schedule Fillers
If we have a full season, given the recent announcement by the MEAC, I think our best hope would be to host NDSU week 1 and play UWV in Morgantown the third week. Other games that would be appealing would be ECU week 3, BYU week 1 or 3, USF week 1, Ohio week 1, TCU week 3, NDSU week 3. All that said, I’d be surprised if we play at all but I am hopeful.

I was thinking of Notre Dame also. Got to dream big guys. But that won't happen because they would see the game as a possible Michigan 2.0, and that would have Touchdown Jesus weeping!

While obviously we're not getting the Wisconsin game, I just hope the Wake game still happens at least.
