Re: NEZ work today
I usually try to stay on topic with any thread but I just had a thought as I watch the cam. Do construction crews adhere to any guidelines? They all work closely together and do any of them wear masks?

I’m sure there is a reason, and I know I’m impatient, but I wish they would hurry and finish the front. Once the front is completed, the facility is going look amazing. As many have said these cameras don’t do it justice. In person it is incredibly impressive.

Looks like they are starting to prepare the outside area for the parking lot/stadium gates. I’m just ready for that teal color to get covered upappstate24 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 29, 2020 9:06 amI’m sure there is a reason, and I know I’m impatient, but I wish they would hurry and finish the front. I believe those are for the Loge boxes. Kind of like an open air private box where you have a counter and you can bring your own coolers.

Re: NEZ work today
They’ll have to sod it. Probably good that it won’t be needed while the roots take hold, though.

Scaffolding going up in the NEZ stands. HopIng they cover the remaining sea foam green material with rock instead of brick.

Looks like it has brick in the rendering. But I'm totally with you, that a rock facing would be great. But will most likely be brick.Appstate88 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 06, 2020 9:37 amScaffolding going up in the NEZ stands. HopIng they cover the remaining sea foam green material with rock instead of brick.

Re: NEZ work today
So any word on if this is still on schedule? They seem to have quite a bit of exterior work still to do.
Not that we have a early Sept deadline anymore...

Re: NEZ work today
Definitely brick on NEZ facing the stadium. Stone would be nice but brick is cheaper and quicker not to mention the one stone wall on the front that poor stone mason crew has been working on that forever. I know you can only go up so high before you have to quit and let it dry but man that’s slow work.

Re: NEZ work today
Finally looks like they have some brick on the front, teal will be gone soon enough! Can't wait to see the finished product. Based on what I see, I think they'll finish the actual seating area in time for the season, but I'm fairly confident they'll be walking through a very unfinished product to get there.

Nelson Aerial at it again. This is looking great. The changes are dramatic (NEZ construction, new field turf and Miller Hill regrade).
