Re: Official Mack had a little Lamb Prediction Thread
I think we are in a weird position compared to 2019. We are now the favorite against a P5 according to a lot of people. I don’t believe UNC will treat this as a “tune up” game like 2019. I also believe many App fans are glossing over our performances in some big games last year. Chase getting rattled, Defense playing sloppy, Turnovers, etc.. Throw in a new OC, new players and pressure of living up to the App standard.
With that, I give no prediction. But I will be cheering and giving my all for App on Saturday.

I suspect a high-scoring affair, and there's no way I'd pick against us this week.
45-38, Mountaineers Win.
Can't wait to be there, yelling my head off.

You think we were a tune up game in 2019? Wasn’t UNC like a 2pt favorite at home? And it was Mack Browns first year and he knows App well. Do we just make up our own narratives here? Actually don’t answer that, I already know the answer.ASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 01, 2022 12:59 pmI think we are in a weird position compared to 2019. Edit: also 4th game of the year for the Heels. If you’re still tuning up in week 4, you’ve got bigger issues anyways.

Re: Official Mack had a little Lamb Prediction Thread
Thank you for taking my post out of context. I did not think that. That was the chatter surrounding that game from outside sources. Feel free to search "tune up" on this board and see for yourself. I definitely did not create that narrative.MtnMan14 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 01, 2022 1:24 pmYou think we were a tune up game in 2019? Wasn’t UNC like a 2pt favorite at home? I'm really not "that guy" who starts crap but I'm curious- how does Mack know App well? Coached here for one year 100 years ago and was gone for a long time.MtnMan14 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 01, 2022 1:24 pmYou think we were a tune up game in 2019? Wasn’t UNC like a 2pt favorite at home? He has a house up near Boone. He would fundraise for App. He’s good friends with JM.bigdaddyg wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 6:17 pmI'm really not "that guy" who starts crap but I'm curious- how does Mack know App well?
