We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Gotta be among the worst losses in program history given the lead we had

Re: JMU Game Day Thread
Can we please look at replacing Dale Jones? I’ve been watching App game since 1998, specifically referencing the first time Dale was Def Coordinator. It didn’t work out then, why go back???

Shut out since middle of the second quarter.
I guess running up the gut over and over and over doesn’t win games.

They have a clearly superior defensive line and that is what was the difference in the game. They stopped our run, pressured our qb, sacked our qb and dominated our offensive line. Our d line gets blocked out of the plays and we only get pressure when we bring our linebackers in which clearly leaves an opening in our d.

Humiliating. Shawn Clark moves to 3-9 in games vs teams we are a 7 point or less favorite or underdog. He loves this program. But he is a coordinator. Not a head coach. He fuels the culture and team as an assistant in the same way he does as a head coach. But he doesnt have it.
You may disagree...but you may not have the same expectations and dreams for our program that I do. And thats ok...there is room for all as we all love our Apps.
Its a long season...and a tough league. But for the first time...we were in the drivers seat for a NY6 bowl. Now that is 100% gone. There are alot of pumpers out there who are continent with 4 loss years and will defend coaches and players to the death. And to you i say....congrats. you got what you wanted. But to those who want more, lets fight for more.

Didn’t get to see much at all due to a funeral. Guess I’m glad at this point.

This ranks up there with VMI and Florida A&M as the worst losses I’ve witnessed in almost 40 years of following App. There is nothing good that can be said about this.

They do indeed. I had the score close and almost picked them but just thought with a more normal week and returning some key players that we would find a way. October should be easier but after this month I won't take anything for granted.t4pizza wrote: ↑Sat Sep 24, 2022 5:46 pmThey have a clearly superior defensive line and that is what was the difference in the game. Re: JMU Game Day Thread
As much as people said we were so close to being undefeated we are super close to being 0-4. We are not anywhere near a top 25 team. As myself and many others have said before, JMU is going to be a huge factor in this league. Congrats to JMU because they are a good team and they are going to be scary once they get a couple more FBS recruiting classes.Apexmountaineer wrote: ↑Sat Sep 24, 2022 5:48 pm“In their first ever Sunbelt conference game”

Ugh. I guess we should've seen it coming. But I held out hope this staff would've figured out the holes by now

Guess we hit our Apex and are on our descent to 5-6 losses’ maybe 7. Only Tom Brady wins when down 28-3 until today
Apexmountaineer has spotlighted our mediocrity. We’re ECU of the West.
Was a shitty game in second half for sure. Disappointing for sure
Parity in this game is real

The better team won today. App will be lucky to be bowl eligible with play like that. They definitely took their foot off the gas with a good lead and totally blew it. Can't say how disappointing this is in so many ways.
