We rightfully give Georgia State guff for playing football in an old baseball stadium, but did you know that they DON'T play baseball in that old baseball stadium?? They play at a different facility almost 10 miles from campus. AND I just read that they are going to spend $10 million to build a NEW baseball/softball facility at the site of the old Fulton County stadium, right across the street from old Turner Field!!! NONE OF THIS MAKES SENSE!!!!!

The defense is what it is. The pieces aren’t fitting together perfectly this year. It happens. I figured that the offense would have to carry this team this year. It’s been OK thus far, but until the OL gets fixed, which I believe that it will, I’m not expecting any large margins of victory.

Agreed, this game may very well dictate the direction for the rest of the season and other things as well.

A win or loss this week isn’t likely to change a trajectory for the season. There are issues with this team that aren’t going to be fixed overnight. Nothing catastrophic, but mole hills were allowed to become mountains. It will get fixed though.

I agree that our trajectory could still change no matter what we do here but if we lose we are done in terms of a SBC title and 8-4, at best, with a shot to go 7-5 or so. Regardless of what our issues are there is no excuse to lose this game. We are at home, coming off a bye, the better team, the RBs are suppose to play, and the weather is in our favor.
