Re: Sun Belt Games Today
With the GS loss only GA State has a chance to catch Coastal. But. Coastal would have to lose twice.

Re: Sun Belt Games Today
Louisville's QB just threw a short TD to a wide open seldom-used tight end against a purple team.
It was beautiful and nostalgic.

ODU plays JMU next week, so one of those is going to have a 4 game lose streak

I hope it is JMU ..but the matchup is not in their favor. JMU great run defense and ODU cannot pass at all.

Satt with the win...but last 3 games 'ville could lose as tough remaining schedule. Hopefully enough to keep the job. Hope he is successful.

Re: Sun Belt Games Today
Looking at our last three remaining conference games (all teams have 3 conference losses), I believe if we play to our potential we should win all three. If this occurs coupled with a bowl win I'll feel much better this off season. The next month will tell all as they say.

I agree. Marshall has a stout defense. However, they are passing challenged on offense..which benefits our defense. ODU is passing challenged as well. Stink will be difficult. They have been a good passing team. However, their secondary is suspect. Hopefully, we go 3-0.WataugaMan wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 8:40 amLooking at our last three remaining conference games (all teams have 3 conference losses), I believe if we play to our potential we should win all three. I’ve been beating this drum, and I could be wrong, but I think Stink is the team we most likely beat of the last 3. Their defense, especially against the run, is atrocious. We won’t have to worry about our defense because I don’t think they’ll be on the field much.BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 9:05 amI agree. Marshall has a stout defense. Re: Sun Belt Games Today
ODU is pretty weak. They started 2-0 in the conference and caught lightening in the bottle against Coastal after winning a squeaker against Arkansas State. There only other win was an out of the gate victory over a very weak VT team.MrCraig wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 9:23 amI’ve been beating this drum, and I could be wrong, but I think Stink is the team we most likely beat of the last 3. Re: Sun Belt Games Today
I understand everyone’s frustration with this season, but 3 of our losses were one score games against good competition. Texas State was the only head scratcher and what ultimately caused us to miss CCG. I still think we are a really good team that lost 3 close games that could have been easily won with some more effective adjustments. Win out and go to a bowl and if that’s our floor, I’m happy with that. Need to go 2-1 at a minimum.

Respectfully ...Very good teams make effective adjustments.I agree we could have won them but we kept "doing what we do" and didn't.This team is 3-4 against FBS competition. That isn't very good.NattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 2:14 pmI understand everyone’s frustration with this season, but 3 of our losses were one score games against good competition. Re: Sun Belt Games Today
I feel like we agree and the difference between us be really good and not very good has been the inability to make adjustments. You’re saying we’re not good because we haven’t made those adjustments and I’m saying we’re really good if we make those adjustments.Stonewall wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 7:22 pmRespectfully ...Very good teams make effective adjustments.I agree we could have won them but we kept "doing what we do" and didn't.This team is 3-4 against FBS competition. That isn't very good.NattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 2:14 pmI understand everyone’s frustration with this season, but 3 of our losses were one score games against good competition. Re: Sun Belt Games Today
That's fair enough.Hearing HCSC say he should have made adjustments after another loss is pretty frustrating .NattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote: ↑Mon Nov 07, 2022 8:56 amI feel like we agree and the difference between us be really good and not very good has been the inability to make adjustments.
