I've been telling people for many weeks now how to beat CCU and Marshall. From the games I've seen with Marshall, we need to pass the ball 15-25 yards downfield all day long. Their DBs don't look very good on the medium passes. Chase should eat them up if the O-line can hold their block for an extra second.

I noticed a GaSo fan that said the App offense versus Coastal looks a lot like their "gun option" offense under Lunsford. Of course, Geep Wade was the GaSo OL coach last season. Why did Clark hire him?
Did he just mean that because our O line looked bad? Because otherwise that doesn’t make sense. We don’t run very many option plays at all.
The funny thing about the Lunsford "gun option" is that it wasn't really an option offense at all. It was just a shotgun run-first offense. GaSo hadn't run a true "gun option" offense since 2015.

The presser was as lackluster as the Coastal effort. Where are the questions about the coaching staff? I guess finding out SC’s “favorite Marshall memory” is more important.

Sure! And that was basically the same way to beat Coastal. Still didn't happen.

I was wondering if Nicole my throw a damper on our passing game, but it looks like it will be moving fast and will be out of the way by game time. Hopefully, we have something up our sleeve and can get our mojo back...

IF we had DBs that were within 15 yards of the CCU WRs when they were 25 yards downfield, we would have won. Plus we can't tackle worth crap.

After we win today our record will match ECU. We are virtually a mirror image of them. Would be a good bowl game

Although not a fan of playing in the MB bowl given home of CCU, an exception would be to play them there.... would get decent fan support

Our two trajectories appear to be opposite. Troublesome.

ECU has 3 losses due to FG miscues. That's brutal

ECU would be a 7 point favorite.

ECU fans would be disappointed with us as their bowl opponent....I would be thrilled to end the season with an ECU matchup. First it means we made it to a bowl game. Second, they are a good team. The field goal kicker has killed them this year keeping them from some big wins for their program.

Myrtle Beach Bowl would not be big enough for the fan interest. It would be a tough ticket to get.

I would be all in on an ECU/APP Bowl game.

We are now aspiring to play ECU in a bowl game. ECU excites me as much as a chess game between Western Carolina and Lenoir Rhyne.

While it's not the NY6 or some other big bowl (that ain't happening) would you rather play some 7-5 MAC or CUSA team in Birmingham? Agree that Myrtle Beach would be too small considering this game would still garner 35k in fan interest. I only raised the theoretical matchup since we are basically even with records.

I'm not so sure I want to see this team in a bowl game. Also, not so sure they will even make eligibility. Most likely a close win vs ODU and a L to the Stink. It won't be easy to win out in my opinion

Exactly. I like to minimize the number of embarrassing National tv appearances we have during a year

I see no point in worrying about a bowl game when we should be making some changes to the staff.

ECU would take us down pretty hard based on what I have seen from the second half of both teams season.

Clearly I bleed black and goal. I hoped we wouldn’t see a season like this forever….
We are totally out of sync from top to bottom and I hate it. I’ll get over this but I hate it, especially for our Seniors. Moving Forward…
