What a lame thread. Our fanbase and players need to get the same hatred in their gut that every team has for us. We have a tremendously soft culture but perhaps that’s bread by too much winning. Im booing Marshall, ECU southern and coastal next season and I will go on the road to boo that stupid looking dog at James Madison.

Come on. I hate Georgia Southern as much as anyone - but this literally will happen at any school in collegiate athletics. Including ours. If obscenities or other offensive remarks were included that’s a different story. Booing? That’s just something that’s going to happen in a rivalry with so much history.

Like has been said, the opposing team gets fired up being booed. I think it would be funny for our crowd to be prompted to get quiet just before the visitors run onto the field, accompanied by the sound of crickets over the sound system.
