I've thought and read about every excuse that can be made for the team's performance thus far and there's not much we can do but hope things get better soon. On another note, was anyone impressed with the pre-game player intros? A couple of things that get under my skin lately:
(1) Player intros - I think the flexing and posing was too much. Also, it took too long. I much prefer the players introducing themselves, giving their playing position and maybe hometown. Nuf said.
(2) Fireworks (not post-game) - It was a nice touch when we were rolling opponents on a regular basis but seems to be losing it's luster.
(3) Music continuously blaring throughout the game - We don't need 6 seconds of rap music or Rocky Top between every snap. Takes away from the game IMO.
I admit I'm old school and I may be the only one but more and more I feel like I'm attending a circus instead of a college football game. Whatever happened to letting the band play, letting the cheerleaders cheer, etc. without all the distractions?
We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.
