I could see us wearing white based on Shawn’s “item of the game” but I would bet on black.

I would like to point out, once again, that many people are not happy with App’s performance this past weekend. Once again, App wore helmet stripes. I’m tellin’ y’all, there’s a correlation.

Agree 100%. After re-watching the game. The extra weight of the helmet stripes are slowing us down.

I agree - don't like the helmet stripes - a single black stripe on the white helmet is fine - black - no stripes

Seriously though, I have wondered if the helmet stripes maybe increase visibility of defensive players for the QB. This is obviously anecdotal, but I really do feel like App plays worse defense in games they have helmet stripes. And just to prove I'm not insane, there was a whole episode of ESPN sports science about uniform effects. For instance, Oregon's jersey numbers are slightly slanted up to make the players appear faster.
