New to the board
Hey guys! My daughter is interested in attending App State next year and we are looking at coming up the last weekend in October when Southern Miss is in town. I wanted to see if there was a ticket exchange on this site? Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

We live in eastern NC. La Grange to be specific. My daughter goes to the early college here in Lenoir County.
Any help/suggestions about game days in Boone would be appreciated. Parking, tailgating, etc.

Yup. It'll be even worse since it's homecoming.
If I were you, I would get a place now for Friday night if you can -- at least half way. Parking will be a pain Saturday if you're any later than 9am.
I'd take it as an opportunity to explore Boone, King St, and campus. Then take in tailgating and the game. I guarantee if you go up to any tailgate you see and say "hey, my name is so and so, this is my daughter. We're exploring her attending here" you will be treated like royalty.

Depending on your budget, I would consider staying in Blowing Rock. Boone Hotel prices on GameDays are like staying at The Ritz
.
My wife and I have started staying in BR for GameDays. The have 8 to 10 boutique hotels. They are significantly cheaper on GameDays.

Plenty of AirBNB or VRBOs in West Jefferson, I'm sure you could land one for a good price for the weekend. Take it all in, the High Country is heaven on earth.

Thanks for all of these suggestions. We are familiar with the area, just not with game day. One of my sisters has a house in Piney Creek, but we will be staying with my younger sister in Wilkesboro and driving in for the game (if we can find tickets). I have been looking at the seating chart for the stadium. What is everyone's opinion on the premium seating options available? Not that there will be any available.....

Confirmed a 3:30pm game?AppStateNews wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2023 9:12 pmYup. It'll be even worse since it's homecoming.

I know baseball is having a scrimmage that morning so it would make sense for 3:30pm kick to let fans go to both and tailgate after/during baseball.
