Can we let any and every student in? I wouldn’t mind just letting any student with an ID in that shows up. Fill the seats and the hill!
Don't we do this every game? As far as I know, no student has been denied entrance to a football game at the Rock.

They have to get a ticket now online I believe. So I’m not sure if they are capped at some limit. Assume they would have to especially for the big games.

It did use to be just your ID.

I’m still angry as an online student I can’t even pay the fees to get in.

I do think they have to get a ticket now days, but any student who pays athletic fees is eligible for tickets, so they are not being limited. I would expect lots of students for Tuesday's Coastal game.

Someone last night said there were 71 tickets left for the Coastal game and I saw where over 9,000 student tickets had been claimed as well.

Surely they had to cut off access to student tickets at some point to the ECU game this year.

My understanding is that they just cut of student guest tickets. The students could all claim a ticket, they just couldn't get one for a guest. I could be wrong but that was my understanding. In reference to some above threads, I know they have to actually get the digital ticket now and can't just use their student id, but it is still my understanding that every student has the ability to get a ticket and we don't cap them. Is this not the case?

Seeing a lot of Coastal tickets going up for sale on this board. Hoping this isn't a sign of a less than packed Rock next Tuesday.
I can't make it. Tuesday is a meeting night for local governments and other events, so I'm booked up. If it was Wednesday or Thursday, it would be more possible for me.

BTW, I still have one tix available. DM me if interested. :D

The chrome A on that weeknight in 2019 in terrible weather looked great, but I don’t think we’ll rock those again cuz the outcome.

As long as the middle of the helmet is free of striping, I don't care if the helmets are see-through.

I can live with stripes on the yellow or white helmets....never for black helmets ...it's complicated 😂

NO! You people have to understand that the curse of the helmet stripes is the most insidious of curses because it does NOT mean the team loses. It just means that the team plays poorly. The Troy hail mary last year involved helmet stripes, and no one will convince me that App wouldn't have won by 2 or more touchdowns had they not had helmet stripes.

I hope we see some kind of mis-direction. I think we can beat Coastal without it but, it would be nice to see the coaches are capable calling a play that has more than one choice to it and the team execute it. It doesn't have to be complicated.

OT, in anothe thread someone saying that JMU isn't eligible for conference title this season? Or i didn't get the sarcasm.

Anyway they looked pretty darned good and get upfield extremely well on Defense, and will be a tough out at Streamersville.
They aren't eligible per NCAA rules. Have to wait 2 years. Sunbelt has fallen in line with that too as they don't want their conference champion to be bowl ineligible. I hope they go undefeated and aren't able to go bowling. Then next year when they are eligible they go 0-12.
Should JMU win the regular season are they eligible for conference championship game?

Nope. Same as last year. I expect them to request a waiver again though. Honestly, I think they should be given a waiver. The 2 year wait was implemented on the assumption that a move up would have one non-eligible year in FCS as they built up their roster and then a year in FBS to continue the transition. With the special COVID eligibility rules, transfer portal and the fact they didn't do their lame duck FCS transition year, I see no reason they shouldn't be allowed to compete. I know others will probably disagree because it's JMU. LOL

Transition years are just dumb... if they can win it, give it to them.
