I’m generally the last one in the lifeboat….
The ship is sinking…..I’m going to pop a gummie and go to bed…..Hope we win but I’m won’t be watching. Talent is there, paid leaders aren’t.

Re: Moving On To ODU
I don't really want that insane screaming coach but I do want one who appears to know what's going on and appears to be in charge of decisions. Most of the time Clark is just standing there

I never understand why we don’t use an H back more. When he gets a block, we pick up good yardage.

For real. Set us back???? We are already in the way back machine thanks to Clark’s BS.311neers wrote: ↑Sat Oct 21, 2023 7:39 pmSet us back from what?tm37766 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 21, 2023 7:38 pmMy amateur observations:
Joey is playing pretty well overall. Keeps plays alive , makes decent decisions
Defense makes great plays, followed by dumb ones- ie take bad angles, get out of position
Clark may not be our guy, but IMHO replacing him at year’s end will set us back another 2-3 seasons.
For some reason I feel like next year we connect the dots and win the close ones against good teams and dominate the crap teams.

I don’t know why, but I feel like we’re on the brink of excellence or at least drastic improvement . A coaching change will upset the apple cart. Idk. Just an opinion.311neers wrote: ↑Sat Oct 21, 2023 7:39 pmSet us back from what?tm37766 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 21, 2023 7:38 pmMy amateur observations:

It quite literally feels like he’s coaching for his job. 4th down going for it every time! Haha! Lucky dog.

Hell yes! Another 4th down TD. I am honestly not thrilled with all those calls but I guess Clark is looking to be aggressive.

I used to feel comfortable when we did that, now I'm holding my breath every time. Seems to be working this game though.

Re: Moving On To ODU
Or we’re on the brink of losing legitimately every bit of momentum we’ve built up over the years. For me, I’d rather take a risk on a new coach who will excite the team and fanbase than stick with something that isn’t working out of hope that next season is the season we get it all together.tm37766 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 21, 2023 8:00 pmI don’t know why, but I feel like we’re on the brink of excellence or at least drastic improvement . Re: Moving On To ODU
Have you been watching the games? What in the world could make you think that? The defense is nowhere even close to where it needs to betm37766 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 21, 2023 8:00 pmI don’t know why, but I feel like we’re on the brink of excellence or at least drastic improvement . Re: Moving On To ODU
Law of averages will catch up to us on 4th downs. 4th and 4 that time. Glad we scored but that's desperation and not confidence.
