David Jackson rules, but man the ESPN+ broadcast seems to get worse and worse. Not even down, distance, and time today?!

Re: ETSU Game Thread and discussion
Well last year it seems Aguilar's first play was a TD pass and this year it was his second play from scrimmage. I guess we are twice as bad this year.

This is my very generic signature added to each post.

Was just saying to my wife it’s like they don’t practice prior to gameday.app_gorilla wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 2:42 pmDavid Jackson rules, but man the ESPN+ broadcast seems to get worse and worse. Not even down, distance, and time today?!

Someone teach the camera person on top of the press box how to use the zoom function. It’s like watching a bunch of ants on my large screen TV.

Lots of camera and behind the scenes is done by App Students so they can learn (and free or at least cheap labor if they get some small stipend.)

Breathing room. Looks like ET has a decent offense. Our offense looks decent also. Lots of weapons.

They may be students, but let them gain experience on the lesser sports first. These folks can’t adjust exposure on the camera when the sun goes behind the clouds.McLeansvilleAppFan wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 3:01 pmLots of camera and behind the scenes is done by App Students so they can learn (and free or at least cheap labor if they get some small stipend.)

I do color commentary for HS football for the local radio station. I’m not great. I’m a sight better than Avery Hall, and I work for cheap. I’ll at least avoid calling Kanye Roberts Kanye West.

Agree. He was a super player, probably a great guy but he’s not very good at this gig.

Aguilar is as confident as anyone I have ever seen in black and gold. Looks great, just hope that doesn't bite him in the ass Latin season.
Nice start. Been a few years with some sort of comfort level in an opening game.

Worst experience getting into a game I e ever had. Finally got in during the second quarter.
