Attack the portal and tell them if they shine at App then they will probably make solid NIL money with a P5 after one or two seasons. Any new coach would know that if they win one or two conference championships at App a P5 will come calling with a job offer.

I’ve gone from anger to not caring. It’s not worth getting worked up over this crap show. Especially if wholesale changes aren’t made. On the bright side, depending on the next 3-4 days, my vacation next year may get a nice cash infusion.

If he makes nearly $1m per year and we hire an FCS coach at $750k, we break even in 2 years. Not to mention the risk of reduced attendance and donations which could be much more than $500k.

I’m probably in the minority here but I’m okay with us being aggressive there. Had we punched it in we would have taken heaps of momentum into the 2nd half. Didn’t work out but I can live with going for it.

I’m sure this has been talked to death on this forum. I’m just not sure how we can average 10,000 more fans a game than any other team in our conference while also seemingly being the poorest team in our conference. It doesn’t make sense to me.

I’m so sick of hearing this crap. If we are really this freaking strapped for cash, then we have issues much larger than what we have seen on the field the last few years. While I doubt it’s true, if that is indeed the case then Doug needs to be gone, for absolutely JACKING up an entire athletic department’s finances.
