Same! He's recently posted about his teams lack of injuries at the HS level because of his training and what they focus on. Bodes well to see that transition into the college ranks. And we'd all certainly love to see him land on the mountain as well!

Just listened to this and it’s great hearing the pride these guys have in the App State program. When they were talking about former athletes not having access to games, facilities, etc., that is a major issue in my eyes. That seems like it would be a great way to maintain the App State culture through coaching changes, player changes, and other staff changes. I really enjoyed the passion these guys have, and unfortunately I’m afraid that passion will be lost with the direction college football is going.

I was not able to catch this live but listened to the audio and this was amazing. So great to hear all of these guys talk about their experiences and how they want to support and be involved with the current and future teams. It should be required listening for all App State fans!

Having passion for your alumni as a student is a different intangible than maintaining and continuing the culture of the football program.
IMO it is an epic failure to not have a program for football alumni to come back to games. Maybe you have to limit the number each week. However there should be a formal process to actually encourage football alumni to return. In the NIL era, it is even more critical to have guys coming back each week
Overall, great podcast, however, very disappointed that we do not do more to encourage football alumni to return.
It's a "low hanging fruit" idea for recruiting high school kids as they see football alumni at games and can recruit.... hopefully it will change...and someone hear this and make changes.
