Honestly not terrible. 2 Saturday games in October! I like the week off before Boise. Southern on a Thursday sucks, also sucks it’s not the last game of the season anymore. But all in all, could be a lot worse.

Time to take back what’s ours!

GO APPS!!

Glad only 1 midweek.
Only 3 home games before November is a sin.
We better start strong with the month long gap between home games, from 9/6 to 10/4. If we’re 3-1/4-0 heading into Oregon State, that should challenge attendance records.

Other than the lack of September home games, imo, this is a fantastic schedule for our program considering the current state of "college" football. Imagine winning all of these games (that are winnable for a good G5 program). We would be a lock for both of our ultimate season goals . . . Conference Championship and Playoff Bid. These days, I am in the camp that pilling on good wins is better for us then the small chance of a major upset. Once things level out and we are producing conference championship level teams again, then I may change my mind, but for now, I love this.

3 home games in November kinda blows, also no back to back weekends in Boone for games until the end of November also sucks.

Positives are the bye week placements. Bye before Boise, bye before GaSo (Thurs), then because of GaSo being on a Thurs we have extra rest/prep for JMU.

If we go 4-0 in games with extra prep / rest (UNCC, Boise, GaSo, JMU) I think the season would be a great success

The chalkboard drawings on the official announcement are top notch.

The Sunbelt did us no favors. As per the norm.

Not quite sure how you came to this conclusion? We have no back to back away games. We have a bye before Boise State. We have no short week games. The only midweek game is a Thursday. October alternates between home and away. November ends with 3 home games.

We have had many worse schedules than this. I thought the scheduling from the Sun Belt was very fair.

If there was a year to get screwed it’s this year. Coming off a disappointing 2024 with a 1st time coach in his first year.

After we go undefeated and to the CFp I expect a more favorable 2026 schedule.

Still disappointed we didn’t cancel @ncsu

Am I the only 1 that see's November home games as a huge advantage for us??? Most teams, especially in the SB, haven't acclimated to the cold yet. Now Marshall is an outlier to that, but GS & Arky State aren't going to like that trip up the mountain at that point in time.

First time since 2019 we haven't closed our regular season with GaSo, but given the outcome of that game some years, maybe it's for the best that we play it a little earlier.

Stink should be final game.
Playing a West team as last game...that is stupid.
Hypothetically, we could play them and then play them again the next week in championship.
I get scheduling is hard...but, we should play West side opponents early and nothing but East at end of season..

Other than that, I am fine with it. The only back to back away games....we have a week off.

I view it as an advantage of just closing out the season at home when everyone will be banged up, not so much for the weather. I am extremely pleased with the schedule.

Three rivalry games and one of the preseason favorites , consecutively, to end the season. Spacing could have been better.

Losing creates more Saturday games...or App has put its foot down about only one non Saturday game. I dont mind GS moving...i see JMU as our biggest rivalry amd i hope we hitch our wagon to JMU. Both Schools have big upside. (APP and JMU)

My biggest hope is that App shows up for the Charlotte game. We cannot lose to those guys in anything.

I hope App/JMU/ODU/ECU and Charlotte form a conference in the future. It would be very entertaining and very drivable.

I agree, Georgia Southern should be on rivalry weekend.

It does not seem fair that all the schools do not have an other side of the conference game that weekend too. Everyone would know who is in the championship game before the last game of the season.

This will be our seventh home game vs five road games since joining the SBC. It has rotated evenly since in 2021.

Anyone else's season tickets showing South Alabama instead of Oregon State?
