Another great interview with DLO. He’s winning the offseason. Hoping it translates to the actual season!

He certainly knows how to name drop. Haven't heard a single speech from him yet where he doesn't drop a ton of names. If he learned just a little bit from the guys he talks about then we should have a really good one on our hands. But the proof will be in the pudding as they say and talk only lasts until kickoff. Excited about our prospects.

I bet he name dropped all those contacts during the recruitment process, didn't hurt so far.
One of his biggest strengths before he coaches one down is his rolodex. He's leveraging that in these interviews. Remember this may be annoying to those of us that listen to every published article/interview, but he is reaching some for the first time.

Re: Loggains - GoFGs interview
If he walks the walk the way he talks the talk, we are in great hands. I don't think I'd mind the name dropping thing if the Panthers didn't just fail through the same personality type. But, that personality type did do very well in college ball!
I loved his answer to if this was a rebuild situation or not. Very transparent with that and you don't see that at any level of football these days.

I am having a hard time adjusting to the new reality of college sports, but I feel just a little better after watching that. Thanks biggie!

I have talked to him. I believe he is a good man. Apparently he was a good assistant at several stops. How will it translate? I’m optimistic.

Re: Loggains - GoFGs interview
For those who have heard DLo on a couple of previous interviews the first half was much of same things he has said before but great info for folks who have not had the opportunity to have heard those other interviews. The second half was good info and mostly new conversations with the GoFGs. They do a great job. And the extra for me was hearing the GoFGs talk for another 5+ minutes after DLo left the call and the conversations they had. It was nice to hear them speak intelligently about our program and hear their neutral insights into their opinions about where we have been, where we are and the likely thinking process of that journey (i.e. coaches).
This is about as good as it gets for an interview at our level from folks knowledgeable about the G5 portfolio.

Yes hope so. He’s been around successful coaches, and not so successful ones.
I do think his nfl experience will be a boon. As long as we get to the playoff by year 2, I’ll think it’s a success

Re: Loggains - GoFGs interview
Dlo is not a Temu coach..... We may not be one of the p4's but we have a coach that has MAJOR connections like he's P4. If the players play up to his standards then we can do anything.

That is one of the problems with the written language, it is hard to tell when someone is serious or joking. That is why people get in trouble on message boards and texting.
